look back to Cape Brewster

Thomas wrote: - Yesterday, we finally left Cape Brewster in good weather. The heavy snowfalls of the past days ment hard work for us and the dogs. We were kind of lucky on our way back, because the hunters, who came to pick up the bear left a track of their snowmobile - that let us move forward much faster. We managed to make a leg of 28 Km within 9 hours - impossible without the track.
After a while, fog was rising again over the sound. We thought, it all would start again, but for our facility the fog disappeared after a while and sight got better.
Nevertheless - near our camp, we found fresh tracks of polar bears, crossing our way - and there it was again, that weird feeling. Fortunately the dogs barked every time, the polar bear was near, and so we felled asleep exhausted.
Next morning weather was good again and now, as we have settled up our camp, with only 20 Km remaining to Constable Pynt, we take a sunbath - a luxury we haven't had before. The power of the still shining sun is enormous and we don't have no wind at all.
Today, we won't to swap with anybody on earth.
